Adventures in French Polynesia (Tahiti and Moorea) | Destination Photographer
Here’s blog Part 2 of 5 of our South Pacific Trip! To read Part 1 (Hawaii) please click here.
After we left Hawaii we flew to Tahiti, we stayed there a couple of days, but the majority of the time was spent on the island of Moorea. Moorea is about a 30-minute ferry ride from Tahiti (still part of French Polynesia). It is truly the most breath-taking place we have ever visited. It was absolutely what I imagine when I think of “paradise”. We stayed in the over-water bungalows at the Hilton in Moorea (thanks to my sweet husband for this amazing surprise!). It was so romantic and relaxing! This is my number one recommendation for the perfect honeymoon or anniversary trip!
I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves:
My Valentine’s gift from my sweet husband! A beautiful Tahitian Black Pearl!
The beautiful reef sharks came out to play at night! We could’ve watched them all night, they are stunning creatures.
We rented a dune buggy for a day to explore the island…SO MUCH FUN!
Back to Tahiti!
