We recently flew to the beautiful Grand Cayman Islands to photograph Savanna and Adam’s amazing destination wedding at the Westin Grand Cayman. The wedding was held on the world renowned Seven Mile Beach. A picturesque stretch of white sand beaches and clear blue water. It was the perfect backdrop for their wedding! We are thrilled for them that it worked out, because they went through a lot trying to have the perfect destination wedding. Their wedding was initially booked for Turks and Caicos, but unfortunately the damage from Hurricane Irma at their original venue caused the cancellation of that plan with less than a month to go before their wedding date. They held a great attitude and rearranged their plans to be wed in the beautiful Grand Caymans instead, and it was a lovely choice!
Their wedding was gorgeous and intimate, with their parents as their wedding guests. The ceremony was held at the gazebo on the beach, and following the wedding they all shared an elegant oceanfront dinner. Savanna and Adam looked stunning for their portraits, and at sunset Savanna said she wanted to get into the ocean for some “trash the dress” photos with Adam. I am so glad she did! The images of the two of them in the clear blue water at dusk are some of my favorites! They are a stunning couple, and are so perfect for eachother!
Congratulations again, Savanna and Adam! We loved being your wedding photographers, and really appreciate you and your parents welcoming us for your destination wedding! Thank you to the staff at Westin who made the day run smoothly too!
Thanks so much to Darren for helping me that day, and for spending his birthday with me in the Grand Caymans! Savanna and Adam sent him such a kind gift of chocolate covered strawberries to our room on his birthday — what a thoughtful couple!
